You are a Flash Rockstar who is passionate about spreading addicting games across the internet. You are a Swiss Army knife of an engineer who prefers collaborating on small, passionate teams to working on 80+ person behemoths. Job Description:
•Lead the Flash client implementation
•Ensure the game runs beautifully and smoothly even on minimum spec machines
•Work closely with systems engineers to ensure efficient client/server communication
•Work collaboratively with designers and artists to bring the game to life
•Produce and maintain technical plans
•Help define, establish and enforce best practices for the team
•Mentor junior engineers
Job Requirements:
•5+ years of game development experience or interactive multimedia design
•Flash/AS3 mastery with strong Java or C++ experience
•Experience developing in Client / Server architectures
•Dedicated gamer who is passionate about working on high quality games
•Windows and Linux/Unix development
•Computer Science Degree preferred
Bonus Points:
•Development of hit games on New Grounds, Kongregate, Armor Games or similar Flash portals
•Development of iPhone/iPad games
•Development of social network games
•Avid player of social network games
