Graphic Designer/Web Tech. III (#10737) at XO Communications in Herndon, VA

Seeking an experienced graphic artist with advanced web skills responsible for creating and/or assisting with the production of brochures, collateral, posters, flyers, mailers, PowerPoint presentations, websites, e-flyers, flash banners, online forms, and interactive pieces.

Proficient using design and development software including Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, Flash & basic HTML, as well as Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.

Key Duties:

  • Design and produce print materials including but not limited to collateral, brochures, posters, flyers, sales aids, etc.
  • Create, design and produce themed promotional materials for trade show pre- and post-event marketing programs
  • Develop and maintain internal and customer-facing presentations
  • Function as limited in-house graphic design resource for marketing campaigns, both online and print.
  • Candidate must have an understanding of web design and hands-on experience designing web sites, landing pages, advertising banners, e-direct mail campaigns and various other online-based creative programs.
  • Provide web design recommendations and/or assist in the development or execution of content and applications for channel-specific web sites including but not limited to: Company web site, xo.com; Company intranets, such as InsideXO; Product, partner and customer portals
  • Assist in the development of specific IT requirements documentation for web capabilities and improvements
  • Develops interactive Flash applications using actionscript
  • Knowledge of PHP, ASP or .NET a plus
  • Establish metrics and mechanisms to measure and improve performance of web marketing initiatives; Develop mechanisms, working with the marketing team, to convert web traffic into sales leads, sales transactions, and existing customer transactions.
  • Supports and protects the XO brand and brand guidelines in all initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:
